How to Use
How to Use
Flip to prime, apply to clean (or slightly damp) skin, and massage in with the rollerball. Start with less than you think you need — castor oil is concentrated.
Use it in the morning under your eyes and you'll notice the difference by noon. Use it at night and your skin quietly does its repair work while you sleep. Use it on sore joints or dry patches whenever you need it — there's no wrong answer.
Goes anywhere:
- face & under-eyes
- neck & chest
- shoulders & joints
- belly
- dry patches
- hair ends

It’s nice to have a 3-in-1 roller. The size is very small, but that does make it easy to hold and use. When using for overnight repair, I keep it a little lower under my eyes since I have sensitive eyes, but it does roll well. I mostly use it for extra moisture, and I’m not sure if it helps with dark circles. (I don’t have really bad ones unless I’m seriously behind on sleep.)I have heard good things about rose quartz and frankincense oil (and already use castor oil), so I’m excited to keep using to see if I notice a difference.
I I have always purchased Castor Oil and Frankincense separately, and I mix them together in a roller bottle, so I was very excited to try this pre-combined mixture in a roller bottle, and it didn't disappoint. It smells like my usual combination, and it works just the same. I have experienced no irritation or other negative side effects. This simplifies one of my essential oil applications, so I will continue using it.
This is a wonderful brand of castor oil. This is my second time purchasing this specific brand, and I absolutely love it. I see visible results in the morning after I rub this around my eyes at night. My eyes look more refreshed and less puffier than they usually do when I wake up. When you roll it on it has an instant cooling effect which is so relaxing after a long day. There are so many benefits of using castor oil on your skin, and this brand has worked for me so well that I am a repeat customer. Buy it! You will love it as much as I do.
I mainly ordered this because I was curious about the rose quartz roller ball. It works well in distributing a light application of oil and it looks cool! I can smell the frankincense oil, but the castor oil has a pretty strong smoky scent that almost drowns it out. Castor Oil is a bit on the oily side, so will take longer to absorb into the skin. Per the box, this oil is made in India. While the box and bottle both show the USDA certified organic seal, I didn’t see on either of them an indication of who provided the certification.
As I have used castor oil successfully in fighting inflammation, I was excited to see it paired with frankincense as a beauty tool. I was impressed with the organic nature of the ingredients and thought the roller ball would work easily. I have been using it for almost three weeks and, sadly, I see no improvement to my under eye area. I am going back to gel patches. I was also surprised and disappointed as there seemed to be little scent to this mixture. In addition, the packaging, while attractively colored, allowed the type set to blend into the background, making it very difficult to read.
Such a lovely, scented rollerball bottle of castor oil and Frankincense. I have not used this under my eyes so cannot attribute to its removal of dark circles, but I have used it on blemishes and on my pulse points and find it to be effective. The castor oil is cold pressed and Hexane free making it a great quality unrefined product. The bottle is lovely and a convenient size so you can take it anywhere with you.
This is my first experience with a rollerball product for under the eyes, and I’m impressed. The oil formula is moisturizing and absorbs well into the skin. Since it’s a thicker oil, absorption takes a while, so I only use this at night or on no makeup days. While thick, it is not sticky or tacky, which I appreciate. The scent of the Frankincense is light but very pleasant. The rollerball is divine and an absolute game changer. All the times I’ve used rollerballs before it was in products like perfumes that have stainless steel rollerballs. I hadn’t really considered that the low thermal conductivity of rose quartz would translate into a rollerball that stays pretty cold as you’re using it. I love that the rollerball remains cold the entire time I’m applying the oil. It is a very refreshing little pick-me-up. Additionally, the rollerball makes application super easy. I sometimes skip eye cream because I have to find my tiny spatula to get product out of the little jar and then apply the product and then wash my spatula. Meanwhile, with this I just unscrew the cap and roll it on. Done. I think this is a great value. I’ve spent a lot more money on expensive eye creams that function just as well to moisturize and don’t provide the convenience or comfort of the rollerball. It’s a great addition to any skincare routine.
Lovely all the way around! Glass bottle, rose quartz roller ball for easy application to fine areas without any sticky mess. Great quality ingredients! Made in India. I love the elegant excerpt, I had to zoom in to make sure you caught that. 😉10ml of pure goodness!:Organic, bottled at source, pure by origin. Cold pressed, hexane free & unrefined.Organic Castor oil with Organic Boswelia Serrata Frankincense oil.Oh, and it smells so goooood!I highly recommend this!
UPDATE 9/09/2025:A company representative reached out to me regarding my review and absolutely quelled, in detail, all of my concerns. They explained that the ingredients are USDA certified organic and the unusual smell is likely due to a different species of Boswellia, as I surmised.I really loved the castor oil roller I ordered from them previously, so it was fantastic to get the reassurance.Very understanding and helpful folks, I very much appreciate that they reached out to me and addressed every single one of my concerns. Though I don't care too much for the smell, I'm going to use it!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I have ordered castor oil & frankincense combo oils before this. My last experience was with a superior product. This one by Satorie and distributed by Hugaboo LLC out of Dover Delaware, though it has the USDA certified organic stamp on it, is leaving me with a few concerns. There is something about the smell that does NOT vibe with the ingredients. Almost reminiscent of petroleum products.I have used more brands of castor oil and frankincense oil than I can count, and I never ever detected that kind of a smell. I am wondering if it is a solvent or if the oils are rancid.I realize there are several Boswellia species as well as castor species, but I just can't be sure of why it smells like this.Curious, I did a little research into Hugaboo, claiming an address in Dover Delaware. Seems it is a business management address, not the company's address. So, there's another red flag. I understand this is made in India and they may need American agents to sell in this country, but I really appreciate transparency in companies and it looks like the company they are using specializes in promoting brands. They're only stake in it is making money. There are so many names associated with this product, I lose faith in the product itself, regardless of the claim of organic ingredients and sustainably harvested plants that went into its make up.I don't think I will be using this product on my skin. Very disappointing.Organic cold pressed Castor oil and steam distilled organic frankincense are a very soothing and healing blend. I have had near miraculous results with my facial skin, using a different high quality brand the past two months. I should also say the roller ball is gorgeous rose quartz, but it did let out a little more oil than I would want on my face.Overall, I think there is a reason this is so cheap. Unfortunately I will not be using it and would not recommend it.
Castor oil/frankincense roll on has a unique but not overpowering smell. After using for over a week, there has not been any noticeable improvement for under eyes puffiness. Also, the oil does not actually absorb in therefore, I don’t really expect any difference. It does leave a tacky feeling where you apply it. I did not notice any hydrating effect either. The application by roll on is wonderful. You don’t have to use your fingers to apply. The price is good and the size is perfect for traveling.
I love the SATORIE Organic Castor & Frankincense Oil with Rose Quartz Rollerball. The roll-on design is smooth and precise, making it easy to apply under my eyes and on fine lines without any mess. My skin feels hydrated, plumper, and more refreshed, and I’ve noticed reduced puffiness and dark circles with regular use.I appreciate that it’s USDA organic, made from single-origin ingredients in India, and has a calming, natural scent. It’s a convenient, travel-friendly addition to my daily skincare routine and feels like a spa treatment at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to nourish and rejuvenate delicate facial skin.
Frankincense and castor oil are a good combination for skin care oil. Castor oil will assist with hydration and frankincense is anti-inflammatory and anti-aging. This can help with skin tone, acne scars and stretch marks. I use it on my arms to assist with dark spots. Its a small bottle with a convenient rollerball. Perfect for your purse. You can touch up your skin whenever needed. My daughter loves frankincense and would use this daily on her wrists. Smells like frankincense but it's not overwhelming. I appreciate the fact that it's 100% USDA organic since it's going on my skin. As with all essential oils, you do not need a lot. Less is more when it comes to this oil.
I really like this smell. Although I smell almost a sweet citrus as well as frankincense. I also like the rose quartz roller ball for application as it feels cool, glides on easily and does not over dispense. With that said, this is a heavy oil feel and lays on my skin and it becomes tacky. Definitely, don't try and apply makeup after this. Obviously, skin care takes months to show its effects but i doubt i will follow through using this except for on occasion due to the thickness of this oil. But it does smell very good to me!
Excellent.. a little thick consistency, but did the trick to help heal a delicate lower eye area injury.
Nice product be prepared very small does not come out to well when applying.
I am very happy with this SATORIE Organic Castor & Frankincense Oil with Rose Quartz Rollerball. It doesn’t have a bad older and goes on very smoothly. I love the way it goes on evenly and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. Also, the small glass bottle with the rose quartz roller ball makes it very convenient. I have been using this every night and my skin has been doing much. Highly recommend and will be purchasing more when I run out of this bottle.
SATORIE Organic Castor & Frankincense Oil with Rose Quartz Rollerball: This combo caster and frankincense oil comes in a small dark-glass bottle with roller top. I like the convenience and quality of the rose quartz roller applicator but wish the bottle came in a bigger size. It does look like I could refill it once I run out, though. I have been applying this under my eyes and haven't experienced any irritation. It's also suggested to apply on pulse points. Not a lot of oil comes out at once with the roller, so it's best to use on targeted small areas. The bottle is a convenient size for travel. The frankincense scent can take some getting used to but I don't mind it. Made in India.
I’m a big advocate of natural products and essential oils, so I was excited to try this roll-on. The scent is pleasant and the formula goes on smoothly with the rose quartz rollerball, which feels soothing and cooling on the skin. That said, I haven’t noticed any visible difference yet in terms of de-puffing or under-eye improvement. I’ll keep using it to see if longer-term benefits appear, but so far it’s more of a relaxing ritual than a noticeable treatment.
